About the Jaipur to Agra drive
Driving from Jaipur to Agra, most guests want to reach the Taj Mahal the same afternoon. That is realistic if you leave by 7:30 AM: the 240 km takes about four and a half hours without stops, so you are in Agra by noon and at the Taj well before the 4:30 PM last entry. Remember the Taj is closed on Fridays.
The route via Dausa and Bharatpur is the same scenic road in reverse, with Abhaneri and Fatehpur Sikri as the natural stops. If your priority is the Taj, choose one stop only — Fatehpur Sikri is the better pick because it is 40 km from Agra and fits neatly into the afternoon.
