About the Delhi to Jaipur drive
NH-48 to Jaipur is a fast, well-maintained highway, but it is also the busiest of the three legs. The first 60 km out of Delhi through Gurgaon can be slow between 8:00 and 11:00 AM, and the Manesar toll plaza backs up on weekends. Leaving by 6:30 AM avoids both.
The drive passes Neemrana, where the Fort Palace is a genuinely good lunch stop if you have an extra 90 minutes. Without stops, expect five hours fifteen minutes door to door. With a Neemrana lunch, plan for seven hours and leave accordingly.
For a two-night Jaipur trip, the most efficient pattern is a Friday evening or Saturday early-morning departure, two full days in Jaipur, and a Monday morning return. We can hold the same driver for the whole trip, which usually works out cheaper than three separate bookings.
